NCLT-National Company Law Tribunal

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is an independent judicial body that cares directly for laws enacted by Parliament. The NCLT deals with challenges to corporate acts, registration as a company and winding up proceedings where a company’s administration has been challenged by certain categories of shareholders under the Companies Act 2013. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is a special court for adjudicating disputes between promoters and shareholders of scheme companies, and between shareholders of scheme companies and creditors. The NCLT deals with all proceedings under the Companies Act, 2013.
